- Q: How do I reserve a pontoon rental?
- A: You can reserve a pontoon by calling us directly or booking online through our website. We recommend booking in advance, especially on weekends and holidays.
- Q: Do I need a boating license to rent a pontoon?
- A: Yes, in Nebraska, anyone born after December 31, 1985, is required to successfully complete a Boating Safety Course and possess a course certificate while operating a boat or personal watercraft. The renter must also comply with Nebraska state boating laws for age and provide a valid driver’s license.

- Q: What is included with the pontoon rental?
- A: Our pontoons come equipped with comfortable seating, a Bimini top for shade, life jackets, and safety equipment. Some boats may also have swim ladders and Bluetooth speakers—ask us about available features when booking.
- Q: Is gas included in the rental price?
- A: We send every rental out with a full tank of gas at checkout. When you return, we will fill the tank and charge you for what you used. If you need to refuel during your rental, you must only refuel at North Shore Marina.
- Q: Is a deposit required to rent a pontoon?
- A: Yes, a refundable security deposit is required at the time of booking or check-in. This covers any potential damages or excessive cleaning fees.
- Q: What are your rental hours?
- A: Our pontoons are available for rent seven days a week from April 1st to October 1st, between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
- Q: Do you offer discounts for longer multi-day bookings?
- A: Yes! We offer multi-day rental discounts:
• 10% off the all-day rate for 2 consecutive rental days
• 15% off the all-day rate for 3 consecutive rental days
• 20% off the all-day rate for 4+ consecutive rental days

- Q: When should I arrive for my rental?
- A: Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled rental time for check-in, safety instructions, and a quick walkthrough of the boat.
- Q: What happens if I return the pontoon late?
- A: Late returns may result in additional fees. Please return the boat on time to avoid extra charges and to allow the next renters to enjoy their scheduled time.
- Q: Do you provide life jackets?
- A: Yes, we provide life jackets in various sizes. Nebraska law requires all children 12 and under to wear a life jacket while the boat is in motion.
- Cancellations & Weather Policies
- Q: What is your cancellation policy?
- A: We require at least 72 hours' notice for cancellations to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within that window may be subject to a fee.
- Q: What if the weather is bad on the day of my rental?
- A: If unsafe weather conditions (high winds, storms, etc.) prevent boating, we offer rescheduling or a refund.

- Q: Can we bring food and drinks on the pontoon?
- A: Yes! You are welcome to bring food and beverages, but glass containers and excessive alcohol consumption are prohibited for safety reasons.

- A: Yes! Pets are welcome on our pontoons, but please clean up after them and ensure they are safely secured while on board.
- Q: Can we fish from the pontoon?
- A: Absolutely! Fishing is allowed, but you must have a valid Nebraska fishing license. Please ensure you clean up after yourself and follow all state fishing regulations.
- Q: Is tubing or towing allowed behind the pontoons?
- A: No, tubing and towing are not allowed behind our pontoons for safety reasons.
